Warwick is situated in the shadow of Stellenbosch's iconic Simonsberg Mountain, where our estate meets the mountain’s smaller outcrop, Klapmutskop. Here nature offers optimal vineyard terroir with the confluence of elements to grow grapes of consistently outstanding quality.
Our winemaking philosophy centres on the vineyard blocks, where time and effort are spent throughout the year to grow healthy, balanced vines. At harvest, fruit is carefully assessed before picking, so that only grapes at their peak make it to the cellar. From there, the grapes are handled with care from crushing to bottling, with minimal intervention to preserve true varietal character. Oak is used to support the wine, never to overpower it. The result is wine confidently chosen in its home market of South Africa and respected the world over.
